What were the challenges we faced?
To create an eCatalogue, the client was looking for an eCommerce platform for uploading products, designs, and creations.Therefore, only registered and verified buyers should be able to access the site so that competitors cannot steal or copy the designs uploaded. After the administrator approves the buyer's registration, the buyer will have access to the storefront.Additionally, the client wanted to create a lightbox for the registered buyer where the admin could create a lightbox and share only some of the links of his products with that buyer. After the expiration time has passed, the light-box will be deactivated automatically.
The solutions we offered
Based on the custom developments requested by the client, we created a single brand eCommerce store with restricted store access for registered, verified, and approved buyers.Buyer registration was made a closed process, where the registration form was shared with the admin for his approval and verification.Upon approving a user's registration, the administrator could create a lightbox and set expiration dates on product links. Users were notified by email at the email addresses they registered. When the buyer clicks on that link, he or she can see the products that have been shared with read more him and can query for any product.A buying process was not included in the solution.
